2009年12月13日 · i can't find anything to diagnose the EGR and N18 valve. Is it supposed to have air succion from EGR or from N18 valve? in my case there is no succion for both. i have removed N18 valve, put 12v on it and did some "click' so i suppose it work fine.

2004年7月3日 · Regarding the N75 and N18 I searched and came across 2 separate opinions. 1. They're the same valve with different colored tops 2. The mostly the same valve but are sprung differently and you'll get better performance using a true N75. I'm a EGR retrofit (delete) and have a spare N18 laying around. Do I go to the trouble of by a new N75? Cheers ...

2002年8月1日 · It's the answer to how you detach the N18 and N75 valves from the firewall - they are both mounted to a plate which is then attached to the firewall with 2 10mm bolts. However, this could also be a way to get to the N18 by moving it out from behind the coolant hose mount.

Please note I have been clearing codes off so the fault frequency will actually be more than the report shows but similar values from the printouts I have kept.

The EGR pressure converter is typically know as the N18 valve. This valve is for the year 2000 and later TDIs (ALH) that have an oval connector. If your car fails an emissions test it could be due to the N18 valve failing.

2025年3月11日 · The thing I can't find any FOR SURE evidence on is what EGR valve is the N18 Valve! There is 2 EGR systems and I believe the N18 is the on bolted on the intake and NOT the one on the EGR cooler. 1.

2010年2月6日 · 1 - remove the vacuum hose that goes from the EGR to the N18 solenoid. Probably easier if you remove the end at the solenoid as the end on the EGR has a hose clamp that requires a special crimp tool. This hose is esay to ID. It goes from the silver puck on the top of the EGR to the solenoid mounted on the firewall.

2013年4月23日 · Is there any problem with running a N18 in place of a N75. I have a 03 Jetta with EGR delete and recently suspected that the N75 was sticking. I switched to the N18 that was not being used and it fixed the problem.
