Regarding the nomenclature, if you were to number the alphabet with a rudimentary substitution cipher (A=1, B=2 etc), the letter W would be 23.

Ballistic Advantage like the article or something more affordable? I'm considering an AR-Stoner that I would then turn the front sight boss down to .625". It looks like most have used a .750" front sight base.
