2009年1月31日 · Since I have intermittently been getting both high and low pressure faults, I am assuming that it is either the fuel metering valve (N290) or the Fuel pressure regulator valve (N276). So far, all of my faults have occurred at or below about 2000 rpms.

2010年4月14日 · Just a thought,but maybe if enough metal gets trapped against the screen it may cause the screen to fail. On the return line out of the low pressure part of the high pressure fuel pump an increase in pressure caused by metal obstructing the screen would cause the overflow valve to open and the metal maybe tears out the screen and carries it back to the fuel tank with the reast of the metal.

I cleared the code using the computer and now no codes appear at all. Tried starting about a dozen times. Just no start. Ran the electric fuel pumps using VCDS. First using Output Test - 03.

2001年12月11日 · The N290 gets its power via the 20A fuse 14 in the underhood fuse box, that also feeds the rail pressure regulator (on the fuel rail), and that fuse is powered up along with a handful of other fuses via the power supply relay, in that same fuse box. This is a blue/red wire at terminal 2 of both components.
