2010年4月14日 · The N75 valve controls the turbo wastegate actuator via directing air pressure to it by actuating a tiny solenoid when the ECU decides its neccesary. this solenoid can turn on and off VERY fast to keep the boost at the proper constant. basically it prevents overboost electronically instead of relying on a set tension spring on your wastegate.

2009年11月25日 · Basically, the N75 is just an electronic regulator. Vacuum and boost goes through it to open or close the wastegate. It is known to fail, not commonly, but it happens. I would say it is a fairly easy replacement, but quite tricky to get to. It is possible what you think is happening could be the case. Have you dont any logs of your N75 to confirm?

2010年5月14日 · the n75 is a bitch to remove and replaced on the GTI. it's doable with the turbo on the car, but most people swap them with the turbo out. look for cracks in the casing, these would be unlikely. more importantly, look for cracks in the vacuum lines.

Car won’t make more than 6-7 psi when code is cleared. Using obd11 I noticed I’m not getting reading from n75 valve so gonna replace it and see.

2007年3月30日 · The N75 valve is inserted between the turbo's high pressure output and the wastegate. If the turbo would directly linked to the wastegate, it would not be able to produce lets say more than 0.3-0.4 bar of boost, because it would shut itself down immediately.

2024年6月14日 · During the loggs the car doesn’t boost more than 7psi and the N75 doesn’t budge off of 0%. I changed two n75 valves. The ohm readings on both were 25Ohms. The voltage on between the two wires while the car is running is 10.8V. What could cause this? I have one more thing I noticed. The throttle position (potentiometer) also stays at 0.
