2019年12月26日 · This 2017 Élan Motorsports NP01 is a tube-frame race car that was designed to compete in the NASA Prototype series and is currently set up for NASA’s ST2 class. Power comes from an Élan-tuned 2.0L Mazda inline-four paired with a six-speed sequential gearbox, and the composite bodywork has been wrapped in a plain blue and black livery.

The NP01-EVO is intended to be raced in its preferred classes, NASA Prototype (NP). Competitors may compete as well in the appropriate Super Unlimited (SU), Super Touring (ST) and Time Trial (TT) classes. 2016年5月20日 · Thanks to the NP01’s low weight, the 185 horsepower Mazda 2.0-liter MZR engine with dry sump oiling system is hardly stressed to push the car around the racetrack. The six-speed, no-lift-shift sequential Sadev S75 gearbox is rated for nearly double the horsepower than that of the MZR, so an overworked transmission is hardly a concern.
