Competition is a good thing and makes developers want to try new things and be innovative. I have personally stopped buying nba 2k bc the amount of micro transactions has become ridiculous.

I find the multiplayer a lot more fun than 2K’s, reason being mostly because you don’t feel helpless or forced to spend money to get your player to a 85 overall and actually win some online games and have fun.
