The National Committee for Quality Assurance is a private, 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving health care quality. Since its founding in 1990, NCQA has been a central figure in driving improvement throughout the health care system, helping to elevate the issue of health care quality to the top of the national agenda.
NCQA CVO Certification program offers the following 11 credentialing evaluation products. All are required for NCQA-Accredited health plans, managed behavioral healthcare organizations (MBHO) and for organizations with NCQA Accreditation in CR, which are typically CVO clients. License to Practice. DEA or CDS Certification. Education and Training.
The Adult Core Set includes the NCQA version of the measure, which is adapted from the CMS measure. This measure was added to the 2025 Adult Core Set. This measure is calculated by CMS on behalf of states. Starting with the 2025 Core Set, the Low-Risk Cesarean Delivery measure is included in both the Child and Adult Core Sets.
