As of July 9, 2013, the NVERS Website was integrated with the Identity and Access Management Service (IAMS), which is being implemented across the National Capital Region (NCR). IAMS allows authorized users to login to participating regional applications by entering their jurisdiction’s login credentials.

In 2005, the NCR (National Capital Region) Interoperability Program (NCRIP), a regional initiative, was established by the local governments of the NCR to create digital networks and systems interoperability for public safety and emergency response.

IAMS authentication – The first step in gaining access to the MDERS website is to register with IAMS. Visit https://getaccess.ncrnet.us. Select your locality, click “Next”, and enter your local jurisdiction enterprise or domain login information. This is either an email address and password, or username and password.

a) Follow the on-screen instructions to request your desired role on the NVERS website/document repository. b) For most users, “NVERS Regional Content” is an appropriate role to request. d) Click “Check Out” from the navigation bar. e) On the next page, click the “Submit Request” button.
