2018年3月28日 · FEMA is conducting this new Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) because NFIP PIVOT collects, uses, maintains, retrieves, and disseminates personally identifiable information (PII) about individuals who purchase flood insurance policies from NFIP, those who process insurance policies, and individuals requesting access to the system.

These interactive resources also allow users to see aggregated policy information for their state and communities, including the total active policies and coverage-in-force, and identify trends in the NFIP’s policy base. Beginning Oct. 1, 2019, PIVOT became the NFIP’s new System of Record, replacing the legacy BureauNet system.

2024年5月29日 · FEMA’s PIVOT data can be requested by NFIP-participating communities, local/regional/state entities and their third party-contractors for floodplain management activities, Community Rating System compliance, hazard mitigation planning, grant applications, and more.
