NGC 2361 is a Nebula in the Canis Major constellation. NGC 2361 is situated close to the celestial equator and, as such, it is at least partly visible from both hemispheres in certain times of the year. 2023年8月23日 · Based on a recessional velocity of 1910 km/sec, NGC 2350 is about 90 million light years away. Given that and its apparent size of 1.3 by 0.7 arcmins, it is about 35 thousand light years across. (Historical: The second IC says "RA is 1 minute too small (W.H. was right). 2361 is one of the points of condensation".)
