NGC 2635 is a Open Cluster in the Pyxis constellation. NGC 2635 is situated south of the celestial equator and, as such, it is more easily visible from the southern hemisphere. Given its visual magnitude of 11.2, NGC 2635 is visible with the help of a telescope having an aperture of 6 inches (150mm) or more.

2005年9月6日 · We analyse CCD broad band (UBV (RI)c) photometric data obtained in the fields of the poorly studied open clusters NGC 2425 and NGC 2635. Both clusters are found to be of intermediate age thus increasing the population of open clusters known to be of the age of, or older than, the Hyades.
Extracting parameters from colour-magnitude diagrams
We apply the approach to the open clusters M 67, NGC 6791 and NGC 2635, which are characterized by different ages, metallicities and distances from the Sun. We present a simple approach for obtaining robust values of astrophysical parameters from the observed colour-magnitude diagrams (CMDs) of star clusters.
