NGC 3358 is a Lenticular Galaxy in the Antlia constellation. NGC 3358 is situated south of the celestial equator and, as such, it is more easily visible from the southern hemisphere. Given its visual magnitude of 11.53, NGC 3358 is visible with the help of a telescope having an aperture of 8 inches (200mm) or more.

NGC 3347 is the elongated barred spiral on the right, NGC 3358 is the lenticular galaxy seen in the left of the frame while the small peculiar galaxy in the middle is NGC 3354. Red shift calculations indicate that all three galaxies lie approximately 125 million light years from here.
