NGC 4383 is a spiral galaxy located in the constellation Coma Berenices, within the Virgo Cluster. It was discovered on 23 May 1862 by Eduard Schönfeld. [2] It is one of the most H I-rich galaxies in the cluster, hosting a 6-kiloparsec (20,000 ly) bipolar outflow, travelling at an average velocity of 210 kilometres per second.
