NGC 4519 is a Spiral Galaxy in the Virgo constellation. NGC 4519 is situated close to the celestial equator and, as such, it is at least partly visible from both hemispheres in certain times of the year. Given its B magnitude of 12.8, NGC 4519 is visible with the help of a telescope having an aperture of 10 inches (250mm) or more.

2012年5月6日 · NGC 4535 and NGC4519 - posted in Experienced Deep Sky Imaging: Here are two galaxies in a field with numerous other smaller galaxies in Virgo. I like this area (Virgo and Coma Berenices) a lot - I think I will try to get an earlier start on it next year.

Both NGC 4535 and NGC 4519 are members of the Virgo Super Cluster of galaxies. NGC 4535 is approximately 52 million light years distant from Earth. Horizontal FOV is about 44'.
