NGC 532 is a spiral galaxy in the constellation Pisces. The galaxy is approximately 100 million light-years (30 Megaparsecs) away from the Earth, and was discovered on September 21, 1786, by the German-British astronomer William Herschel.

NGC 532 is a Spiral Galaxy in the Pisces constellation. NGC 532 is situated close to the celestial equator and, as such, it is at least partly visible from both hemispheres in certain times of the year. Given its B magnitude of 13.5, NGC 532 is visible with the help of a telescope having an aperture of 14 inches (350mm) or more.
