NGC 5377 - Wikipedia
NGC 5377 is an intermediate barred spiral galaxy located in the constellation Canes Venatici. Its speed relative to the cosmic microwave background is 1,951 ± 11 km/s, which corresponds to a Hubble distance of 28.8 ± 2.0 Mpc (~93.9 million ly). [1] NGC 5377 was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel in 1787.

NGC 5377 is a Spiral Galaxy in the Canes Venatici constellation. NGC 5377 is situated north of the celestial equator and, as such, it is more easily visible from the northern hemisphere. Given its visual magnitude of 11.46, NGC 5377 is visible with the help of a telescope having an aperture of 6 inches (150mm) or more.
Professor Ronald J. Buta - The University of Alabama
NGC 5377 is a classic resonance ring barred spiral with a dimpled outer pseudoring characteristic of the OLR . We recognize the feature as type R 1 , based on two arms that intersect after winding 180 degrees.

Description - NGC 5377 is an excellent example of an early-type, weakly barred spiral with an OLR-type outer ring. Although classified as a true ring by de Vaucouleurs, it is actually a pseudoring made of two tightly wrapped diffuse spiral arms. The inner zone is a classic oval with only a trace of an inner pseudoring.
NGC 5377 (Gary Imm) - AstroBin
It is a magnitude 11.5 face-on spiral galaxy that spans 4 arc-minutes in our apparent view. This corresponds to a diameter of 110,000 light years. The beautiful structure features a bright core, a complex inner region, and an outer pseudo-ring (type R1’) formed by the 2 spiral arms.
