In this paper we present a photometric, astrometric and spectroscopic investigation of three previously unstudied POCRs, namely NGC 5385, NGC 2664, and Collinder 21, with the aim of clarifying their real nature. The analysis closely follows the strategy earlier proposed by Odenkirchen & Soubiran .

===== NGC 5385 is an asterism of about a dozen stars scattered over an area about seven by three arcmin. Villanova et al (A&A 428, 67, 2004) have found that it is not a real cluster -- the UCAC proper motions support that conclusion -- but the group is eyecatching, nonetheless.
