NGC 6654 is a Lenticular Galaxy in the Draco constellation. NGC 6654 is situated close to the northern celestial pole and, as such, it is visible for most part of the year from the northern hemisphere. Given its B magnitude of 12.7, NGC 6654 is visible with the help of a telescope having an aperture of 10 inches (250mm) or more.

This 12th magnitude galaxy spans 2.5 arc-minutes in our apparent view, which corresponds to an actual diameter of 70,000 light years. I find the barred core area to be interesting.
