NGC 6770 and 6769 in Pavo This was a real challenge that cost me a couple of nights. The seeing has been a bit unstable recently and the group does´nt really come up high even in the southern hemisphere. I picked approximately 3 hours of the best frames between 1" and 1.8" for luminance and discarded probably about 10 hours of imaging time.

This is a superb triple system NGC 6769-71, located in the southern constellation of Pavo (the Peacock) at a distance of 190 million light-years.
