A small open cluster of NGC7235 is positioned about 1 degree south of zeta Cep, a southeast star of Cepheus's pentagon. The star has been captured in upper part of this picture. NGC7235 has a visual size of 4 arc minutes, you can recognize the cluster like a dimmed lump of faint stars through small sized telescopes.

It is a magnitude 7.7 cluster of about 200 stars which spans 5 arc-minutes in our apparent view. This corresponds to a diameter of about 20 light years.
