NGC 7419 - Wikipedia
NGC 7419 is an open cluster in the constellation Cepheus. It is heavily reddened and notable for containing five red supergiants, the highest number known in any cluster until the end of the 20th century, but probably no blue supergiants.
NGC 7419 - Open Cluster in Cepheus | TheSkyLive.com
NGC 7419 is a Open Cluster in the Cepheus constellation. NGC 7419 is situated close to the northern celestial pole and, as such, it is visible for most part of the year from the northern hemisphere. Given its visual magnitude of 13, NGC 7419 is visible with the help of a telescope having an aperture of 10 inches (250mm) or more.
NGC 7419: a young open cluster with a number of very young …
Abstract: We present a photometric and spectroscopic study of the young open cluster NGC 7419, which is known to host a large number of classical Be stars for reasons not well understood. Based on CCD photometric observations of 327 stars in UBV passbands, we estimated the cluster parameters as, reddening [E(B−V)]= 1.65 ± 0.15 mag and ...
Exploring membership and variability in NGC 7419: An open …
Abstract: NGC 7419 is a young open cluster notable for hosting five Red Supergiants and a much higher abundance of Classical Be stars (CBe) than typical open clusters. We perform a membership analysis using GAIA DR3 data and machine learning techniques like Gaussian Mixture Models (GMM) and Random Forest (RF) and determine the cluster's mean ...
Title: NGC 7419 as a template for red supergiant clusters
2013年2月22日 · We obtained Strömgren photometry of the open cluster NGC 7419, as well as classification spectroscopy of ~20 stars in the area. We then applied standard analysis and classification techniques. We find a distance of 4+-0.4 kpc and an age of 14+-2 …
36 7% of all cluster B-type stars brighter than RC = 16.1 mag. This locates NGC7419 among these open clus-ters which are richest in Be stars such as galactic NGC663, NGC330 in SMC, and NGC1818A in LMC. 1. Introduction.

NGC 7419 - Cluster
NGC 7419 is a young open star cluster, in the constellation Cepheus, at a distance of 7,500 to 11,000 light years. The cluster's age is from 10 to 15 million years. Its location, behind dark nebulae and molecular clouds, heavily reddens the color.

From Virginia Beach , NGC7419 will become visible at around 17:54 (EST), 65° above your northern horizon, as dusk fades to darkness. It will then sink towards the horizon, becoming tricky to observe after 00:55 when it dips 21° above your north-western horizon. All times shown in Virginia Beach local time.
