Galaxy NGC 7497 & Integrated Flux Nebula | Deep⋆Sky Corner
NGC 7497 is a barred spiral galaxy of morphological Type SBc. It is situated behind a filament of integrated flux nebula MBM 54. Integrated flux nebulae are high galactic latitude molecular clouds that are not illuminated by a single star but by the energy from all stars of The Milky Way, hence the term «integrated flux».
NGC 7497 - AstroBin
NGC 7497 is a spiral galaxy in the constellation of Pegasus, viewed through the Integrated Flux Nebula (IFN). This rendition aims to bring up the deep interstellar dust across the frame.
Hanson Astronomy Photos-NGC 7497
NGC 7497 Spiky stars and spooky shapes abound in this deep cosmic skyscape. Its well-composed field of view covers about the size of the Full Moon on the sky toward the constellation Pegasus.
NGC 7497 (Larry S) - AstroBin
NGC 7497 is a spiral galaxy similar to our own Milky Way galaxy and is seen from our vantage point edge-on. It lies about 60 million light-years away from us in the constellation Pegasus. The segments of the IFN captured in this image are part of one cloud catalogued as MBM 54 and lie less than a thousand light-years from us.
NGC 7497 - Spiral Galaxy in Pegasus - TheSkyLive.com
NGC 7497 is a Spiral Galaxy in the Pegasus constellation. NGC 7497 is situated close to the celestial equator and, as such, it is at least partly visible from both hemispheres in certain times of the year. Given its B magnitude of 13.3, NGC 7497 is visible with the help of a telescope having an aperture of 10 inches (250mm) or more.
NGC 7497 (Gary Imm) - AstroBin
Its apparent diameter of 5 arc-minutes corresponds to a diameter of 90,000 light years, almost as large as our Milky Way. The galaxy shows signs of gravitational deformation from nearby galaxies (unseen in this image). The core of the galaxy is displaced somewhat to the right and the galaxy disk appears a bit deformed on the left edge.
NGC7497 + MBM 50 (Integrated Flux Nebula) - Sky & Telescope
NGC 7497 is a spiral galaxy, type SBc, in the constellation Pegasus. At a distance of about 59 million light-years, the galaxy is viewed through the Integrated Flux Nebula (IFN). The residual light of our galaxy illuminates this faint nebula. You must be in to post a comment.
NGC 7497 - AstroBin
NGC 7497 is a spiral galaxy located in the constellation Pegasus, approximately 60 million light-years from Earth. The galaxy exhibits a typical spiral structure, but due to its tilted orientation toward us, it appears elongated when observed.
NGC 7497 GalaxyFacts & Distance - Universe Guide
NGC 7497 is a Spiral Galaxy located in the constellation of Pegasus in the northern hemisphere. NGC 7497's distance from Earth is 58,264,575.31 light years. NGC 7497 is called NGC 7497 in the New General Catalogue (NGC).
