NGFF-Converter can convert bioimage formats into OME-NGFF or OME-TIFF. OME-NGFF is a new, cloud-friendly data format optimized for multi-dimensional bioimaging datasets such as those used in digital pathology, multiplexed imaging, and high content screening.

NGFF-Converter is an open source tool for converting bioimage formats to the OME-TIFF and OME-NGFF specifications. Formats supported by the bio-formats library should be able to be converted by this tool. Internally NGFF-Converter uses the bioformats2raw and raw2ometiff packages for conversion.

2024年5月9日 · Glencoe Software are happy to announce the latest release of NGFF-Converter. Proprietary bioimage file formats continue to add unnecessary complexity to image analysis workflows. Conversion to open-source formats such as OME-NGFF and OME-TIFF can make it easier to handle this data.

Java application to convert image file formats, including .mrxs, to an intermediate Zarr structure compatible with the OME-NGFF specification. The raw2ometiff application can then be used to produce a Bio-Formats 5.9.x ("Faas") or Bio-Formats 6.x (true OME-TIFF) pyramid.
