2005年2月11日 · I emailed NGK, and this was the reply I received from them. The EYA plug is referred to as an “anti-fouling” spark plug based on the design of the spark plug. BR9EYA is interchangeable with part number BR9ES you will not damage your engine. If you have further question please feel free to contact me again.

2009年11月4日 · Your sled will more than likely run fine on either brand, as long as it's cross referenced correctly. My sled calls for the Champion plugs, and I know the cross reference for Champion rn3c is the Ngk br8es. but to my experience the champion rn3c is actually in between a br8es and a br9es in heat range.

2005年12月9日 · They came up with a variable heat range plug (or something like that). The NGK will work in a pinch for a spare, but I would go with the champions. They were specificly designed for that engine. You can't beat that. As far as BPR9ES verses BR9ES the only difference is the BPR9ESis a platinum plug thus the "P". :m2c:

2004年11月4日 · my dealer reccomends that i run br9es in my sled (2000 500 XC) and he says not to run br8es because it will run too hot. wuts the problem with running a hotter spark? will it make me burn down? overheat faster?
