Why did EA stop producing NHL games for PC? : r/EA_NHL - Reddit
Worked there when they did, including on the NHL series for a while. PC is NOT a popular gaming platform for sports games. Definitely not by the logic EA uses to decide product viability. The discrepancy in numbers between PC and console unit sales is ludicrous, and it’s no cheaper to develop for PC than console. Not worth it.

How to Play NHL on PC? : r/EA_NHL - Reddit
2023年8月12日 · Something like 150m copies of FIFA 23 were sold.. It was something like .66% were PC sales. Like 100mill Madden at like 1% PC. Both of those equate to about a million copies. Is there just never going to be an NHL game on PC? : r/EA_NHL
2022年5月6日 · Madden, FIFA, and F1 all dwarf the NHL in worldwide sales and popularity, so they get bigger budgets and the manpower to produce PC ports. NHL can't even get a large enough budget to afford both an in-game soundtrack and goal songs. NHL is closer to NBA Live than it is to Madden -- if they have a couple of down years, the game will disappear.

As part of the group that has been waiting for a PC release of NHL for an eternity, I was so excited to try the cloud version of NHL 24 that recently released. While the input lag was surprisingly usable, the visual quality was extremely subpar.
Here's the reason why 24 not coming on PC : r/EA_NHL - Reddit
2023年9月1日 · There simply isn't enough interest to justify developing NHL for PC, that's why. Like others have said, Madden and FIFA both have PC versions because they're both extremely popular. The NHL series is the lowest selling EA sports game, it doesn't even crack the top 50 most played games on Xbox and Playstation.
NHL24 Cloud Gaming is amazing : r/EA_NHL - Reddit
It’s so nice to have cloud gaming for NHL24, it’s the closest thing to NHL on PC for now. Got so many of my friends hooked on it, hopefully NHL25 will also be on the cloud! Occasional hiccups aren’t really NHL’s problem, but whenever I play I usually get 1080p 60fps which is nice.
Petition to bring NHL 25 to PC : r/EA_NHL - Reddit
The install base, specific to the NHL games, is small on PC compared to the NHL. Hockey also doesn't sell. It might be a popular sport in Europe, but it barely sells in North America and sells worse in Europe. Hockey doesn't sell. End of.
