2007年6月12日 · Fixed posts are generally handled by contract security officers. NIH does have some facilities in Rockville and an off-site location in the Northwest (Idaho, if I recall). Like any other job, don't expect it to be more than it is, but NIH PD would certainly be worth looking at, especially if you want the FLETC certification.

2009年4月1日 · NIH at least in Frederick uses mostly Wackenhut security for gate duty. My GF is a Dr there and I have been there enough times. I have seen the NIH officers doing radar and pulling over speeders etc. what you saw was the fort detrick dod police. Nih police only patrol a few buildings up there I don't answer recruitment messages....

2020年12月5日 · HHS is the mothership parent agency with law enforcement sub agencies to include HHS OIG, FDA OCI, and NIH Police Officers. FDA OCI has some of the most varied type of cases in any 1811 agency, besides FBI, and I absolutely love to work joint cases with them.
