New Jersey Transit 4008-4044 are 2016 MCI D4500CTH hybrid-electric buses. Two demo buses, 4008 and 4009, were built in 2015. These buses feature Cummins ISL-9 engines, displacing 8.9L and rated at 330HP, and Allison H50EP hybrid drive system. These buses are not equipped with lavatories and seat 57. MCI was the only bidder for these buses.
