NJT 4176 : Description: NJTransit 4176 is on the "Farewell to the U34CH" fan trip at Hillsdale, NJ 8/27/1994. NJT 4176 was repainted for the trip and looked great on its last day of service. 2024年8月6日 · In 1994, NJ Transit ran farewell excursions with U-Boats 4176 and 4172. After the excursions, 4172 was placed in work train service, while, according to the Mark I Video I watched, 4176 was "saved for preservation."

NJT 4176 (U34CH) does a mediocre imitation of the RS-3's it had replaced years before as it shoves an eastbound train away from the former Erie Benson St. Station in Glen Ridge, NJ. Notice that the bench in front of the depot proudly displays the 'ERIE' name some 33 years after the Erie Lackawanna merger.
