2025年1月29日 · Here is an archive video from late 2020 of a combined train with NJT PL42AC 4016 and Metro-North GP40PH-2 4906 on the Main/Bergen County Line.

I'm glad to see that Metro-North's one GP40PH-2 locomotive is back in New Jersey. Link to this page: http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=1170849. MNRR 4906 MNRR GP40PH-2 4906 and NJT P40DC 4800 sit in the loco yard at the MMC.

Metro-North ordered a single GP40PH-2 unit, numbered 4906. It was rebuilt by Conrail in 1992 and is classified as a GP40PH-2M. Starting in 2014, all but three of NJ Transit's original GP40PH-2s have entered an in-house rebuild program by NJ Transit for a mechanical conversion into a standard GP40-2 for non-revenue service.
