Yes, the regular whistle on the 765 - mounted on the steam dome with a shroud - fireman's side- is from the first NKP 700. It is all brass/bronze, unlike the S-2 whistles which are brass on the bowl and bottom and cast iron on the top.

Here are the first two views of NKP 765 processed into black and white. They are from September 9, 2010.
