The quality system concerned must be certified by a Notified Body (MID) (Dutch Metrology Act – Nationale Metrologiewet). Then a certificate is issued. This certificate spells out the scope and powers.

NMi Certin is accredited by the Dutch Accreditation Council (Raad voor Accreditatie-RVA) as a calibration and testing laboratory (ISO/IEC 17025), product certification body (ISO/IEC 17065) and inspection body (ISO/IEC 17020).
