NS 8460 leads an all-Norfolk Southern lashup of a BNSF train west on the KO Sub in West Fargo, ND. I loved this section of line west of Fargo even though it was flat, straight, and devoid of scenery. The volume (and speed) of the trains out here was impressive. As for the leader in this shot, it is an ex-LMS unit, built as LMS 720 back in '94.
