The Waste Assets Management Corporation (WAMC) is a statutory corporation created under Section 16 of the Waste Recycling and Processing Corporation (Authorised Transaction) Act 2010 , which commenced on 23 March 2010.
We consider WAMC customers to include both water access licence holders and NSW taxpayers, who also contribute to the costs of efficient water management. The customer base for WAMC includes all those with a licence to extract or use water in NSW, which totals around 38,000 licence and approval holders.
