Will it hold up to reasonable thrashings, street tires. You'll really have to baby it to hold up to that kind of power. They are more of a light pickup transmission and shift like one as well.

2017年1月25日 · The NV3500 is not worth your time because the bellhousing is integral with the trans and it will require beating your floorboards a lot to make it fit. Your best option is a T5 from an 83-93 F-body. The 'World Class' versions introduced around 1987 withstand more torque.

2011年10月4日 · All you have to do is find the correct bellhousing to mate said transmission to a SBC. Get the matching clutch, find the correct size flywheel for the clutch size and go from there. Most car bellhousings will limit clutch size to 10.5" to 11". Some truck bellhousings will allow a larger clutch but might not fit your transmission tunnel.
