It's has taken some time....but NYC 4068 & Nyc 4080 arrived at the Medina Railroad Museum, in Medina New York at approximately 10:45 +/- AM on 6/10/2008. They had previously been stored for repairs in Lockport, NY.

RPCX NYC 4080 is an EMD E8A. Reportedly: it was built in 1953 as NYC 4080. PC renumbered to 4325 when cab signals were added. Assigned to NY&LB under PC/Conrail and NJDOT. ICG Paducah changed the number when rebuilt there in late 70’s.

I do not have this particular model number however I purchased a Proto 2000 NYC EMD E7A Phase 1 unit last year and have had no problems with it at all along with the other 3 Proto 2000 locomotives on my pike. It comes with a QSI sound/motor decoder and I believe 2 speakers rendering very good sound.
