
New York, Susquehanna and Western 206 - Wikipedia
New York, Susquehanna and Western Railroad No. 206 is a preserved S-2 class diesel switcher locomotive on display in at the Maywood Station Museum in Maywood, New Jersey. No. 206 was built by ALCO in 1942 for the New York, Susquehanna and Western Railroad (NYS&W), as part of their process to dieselize their locomotive roster.

NYSW 206 is on home rails for the first time in years. It is destined for Maywood and cosmetic restoration. Former NYS&W 206 sits on home rails awaiting the rest of the journey from the PSE&G yard to the Maywood station. The Conrail transfer caboose behind it also came from the URHS collection.

The Maywood Station Museum collection also includes original New York, Susquehanna & Western Railroad ALCO Type S-2 Locomotive #206, which has also been restored by Maywood Station Historical Committee members. On September 10, 2009, NYS&W S-2 #206 was placed on the State of New Jersey Register of Historical Places.
