I had several fairly strong Personas by that point (I think I was level 81) including Michael, Thanatos, Beezlebub, Satan, Seth, and Thor, so I went as the primary offensive weapon and switched as necessary.

In regards to the great seal we're never shown the full extent of it's ability though if Elizabeth and SEES are anything to go by then it clearly puts a burden on his soul.
