2007年8月16日 · I'm a machinist and know a few so we are teaming up to put together an NA Monster SR20. You guys are right about the turbo and my build not being cheap. So I rethought my whole build and decided to see how cheap I could make this build and still make some good N/A power V. Just throwing a bunch of money at it.

2002年8月24日 · There are a number of ways to go about this, including engine swaps, aftermarket kits, and piece-together rigs. I went with the last of that set. Overall cost? Probably in the $2000-2500 range, plus countless hours soaked in God-knows-what and smelling like some cross between motor oil, rotting fish, and general death.

2004年1月9日 · For those of you too new to the SR20 scene, its my my teal green 200SX, SCC's Project 200SX SE-R. For many years it was one of the most powerful NA SR's until Andri's latests big bore developments. As a recap, this is a fairly mild by todays standards motor, one easily and cheaply reproduceable by anyone.

The pictures below are of the SR20 engine that was used a few years back in one of the European touring car championships. I received these pictures from a friend in Japan who works for Nissan in the Motorsports Development Section.

2011年8月30日 · All-Motor (NA) Engine Build basically a spin off of one of Kojima's NA motors but with alot of key modifications and block prep/mods to the bottom end and crank case to eliminate losses due to windage (oil cloud formation/turbulence).

2010年3月8日 · 1991 BRG, 82K miles, powered by a motorsports built 1997 Nissan SR20de Autech with 6spd. Factory specs are 200hp and this engine dynoed at 179WHP in my last Miata. This time, we're using Haltech with R35 GTR coils to see if we can get above 190WHP. One thing I skipped on my last car is frame rail reinforcement.

2004年12月15日 · Remember, Kojima has found out that the NA SR20 is benefits more from work on the exhaust side vs the intake side..... i.e. the development of the Gen 6 HS header. you will see better gains on a turbo motor. I am sure an Intake manifold will give gains on an NA motor as well but nowhere near 50whp.
