2017年11月11日 · I recently picked up a NAD 7020 Receiver. It's functional, but the tuner drifts. I'm under no illusions - it would benefit from a recap, but I'm seeing anecdotal info that says it has upwards of 70-80 caps in it. Gosh that would be daunting. I see there are kits available online for the 3020 (amp only cousin), but cannot find a kit for the 7020.

2021年12月24日 · Also learned 7020 basically is a 3020 + tuner and 3020 has the issue of the bad caps (C531, C532, C533) on the preamp mute circuit creating the “welcome thump” issue, does that apply to 7020?

2019年1月2日 · This thread helped with my NAD 7020 recently. I have the “rev2” version with the vertical power daughter board as it’s referred to above. All functions worked on initial testing but it had a hum in both channels that only went away if the speakers were not selected. Visual inspection showed c901 and c902 blackened at the pcb.

2014年12月20日 · 1) Anyone know where I can find a 7220PE transformer with the additional 40V rails? After a little googling, the NAD 7225PE looks like it’s has the same rails. The 7225PE is easier to find online for parts, I just don’t know if it will mount right and fit. I also would rather buy a known working transformer rather than a scraped receiver.

2010年3月19日 · The 3 dB dynamic headroom is a factor of two, not three, so the 7020 will play as loudly as most receivers with an honest 40 WPC rating. Everything else in Ron's post is spot-on. The 7020's sound quality is amazing, the phono preamp will put many high-priced separates to shame, and the tuner is even worthy.
