Nana (stylized as NANA) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Ai Yazawa. First published as a two-part prologue in Shueisha 's monthly shōjo manga magazine Cookie in 1999, Nana was later serialized in the same magazine from May 2000 to May 2009, before going on indefinite hiatus.

In the radically different protagonists of Komatsu Nana and Osaki Nana, there is an undercurrent of conflict between the Japanese woman’s traditional dependence and burgeoning independence. While Komatsu seems determined, even destined, to become a housewife, Osaki struggles to forge her own path, even at the expense of love and friendship.

Nana was adapted into an anime in 2006, directed by Morio Asaka and animated by Madhouse Studios. The series aired for a total of forty-seven episodes from April 5, 2006 to March 27, 2007.
