Nanto (南砺市, Nanto-shi) is a city in Toyama Prefecture, Japan. It is in a mountainous area in the south-west corner of the prefecture just north of Gifu Prefecture. It is home to the Gokayama UNESCO World Heritage site.

Since times of old, Fukuno has been the center of trade in the Nanto area, developing over time into the market town one can see today. Here, the Yotaka Festival is held every May to preserve culture and tradition for future generations.
