2024年1月19日 · The Institute for Adult Learning (IAL) has launched Singapore’s first Adult Learning Collaboratory (ALC) to resolve critical challenges in Singapore’s adult education landscape. This initiative was announced by Guest-of-Honour Minister for Education, Mr Chan Chun Sing, at IAL’s Adult Learning Xchange (ALX) 2024.

In spearheading capability building of across the Training and Adult Education (TAE) sector, IAL’s designation as a National Centre of Excellence for Adult Learning (NCAL) serves to expand its current role as a training centre and qualifier for adult educators for the private training providers.

In November 2022, IAL was designated as the National Centre of Excellence for Adult Learning (NCAL) to systematically raise the quality of adult teaching and adult learning across the TAE sector.
