2024年6月7日 · I think simplifying RTS, is a good direction for mass appeal and gaining new traction to new players. Todays gamers want something that is accessible, and immediate. You start microing battles within seconds in this and that definitely seems to satisfy the need for immediate stimulation of the brain.

Hey all! I consider myself fairly up-to-date on all of the RTS news, but I recently discovered a few upcoming RTS titles that had been flying completely under my radar. Tower defence, base builders, hero squads, Dota, etc RTS is still popular, it's just those original versions that did a little of everything that have fallen away. In addition, they are harder to monetise. The studios that made them mostly all went bust/bought out.

At least for me, i just end up buying the old rts game which are like the new rts but finished and often more fleshed out and balanced.
