Can anyone tell me the location of the receiver that gets the signal from the key fob to lock/unlock the door/trunk. My key fobs don't work (both of them). I've tried resynchronizing and they still don't work.

Have a 2001 Corvette with a Remote Control Door Lock Receiver that has an intermittent fault/short. Tne module is no longer in production by GM. Where can I find one?

Most module problems have been dirty or burned relay contacts, and full power is not sent to the door lock actuator. The DCM's are located inside each door panel. Read the link to Bakersfield's write-up that I posted earlier in this thread.

The remotes do go bad! You will need to find one with the same type of operating system. The early C5 are incompatible with the newer ones. 2001 - 2004 are different than 1997-1999. I think 2000 were different still but are backwards compatible for the 1997–1999s. Check on e-bay. Before you buy a new one have you tried re-synching the FOB also?
