2023年3月25日 · It would seem that as of Feburary 9th 2023 Nexon officially filled copyrights for Project P3, and related assets. Something to note is that these copyrights were filed in mid-Feburary of 2023, but the copyrights state that the assets being filed were created in 2021.

According to the announcement, the game was a first-person adventure in which players cooperatively explored a medieval fantasy dungeon.

Yesterday, the investigative authorities seized and searched Iron Mace, the developer of 'Dark and Darker', in connection with the unauthorized leakage of our new development project 'P3'. The company has requested a strict and thorough investigation by the investigative agency for this case.

I believe Nexon isnt sueing not only for stolen assets, but for the entire ip theft. The developer of dark and darker was previously main developer and Team leader of project P3 in Nexon. And was fired because he went around the company and asked lot of developer to leave the company with him and creat game of their own with P3 assets and ideas.

When the remaining team asked for more funds and support to continue P3, Nexon denied them. Within Nexon leadership, P3 was already considered cancelled - the remaining developers were being used to generate assets that could be used elsewhere in the company while Nexon planned how to divvy them up among other studios.

Them using stolen anything is atm a baseless accusation from nexon until we see actual results from their cease and desist. To me it just seems like a mega corp shitting on the little guy cause they broke off to do their own thing cause nexon wanted to dramatically shift P3 to a shooter and i believe trend towards sci fi rather than fantasy.
