Nezu Shoukichi is one of the six Nezu siblings and the third-eldest. Shoukichi has messy black hair like the rest of the Nezu family. Due to his impoverished upbringing, Shoukichi developed a great fascination for items his family can't normally afford. Small gifts most people took for granted may as well have been rare treasures to Shoukichi.

Nezu Daikichi is the eldest son of the Nezu family. He's known for destroying things (mostly unintentionally). When he was still in school, Daikichi's appearance was virtually indistinguishable from the rest of his family.

After their parents are killed in a plane crash, Ryuuichi and his younger brother Kotarou are taken in by the chairman, who they never met before, of an elite academy. Ryuuichi becomes the school daycare's new babysitter.

Ryuuichi Kashima has always taken care of his little brother Kotarou due to their parents traveling most of the time. After the Kashimas suddenly die in a plane crash, an elderly woman named Youko Morinomiya offers to become the brothers' guardian until they both become adults.
