The Health Services and Outcomes Research (HSOR) unit was established in 2005, as part of the National Healthcare Group. Our vision is to add years of healthy life to the people of Singapore through excellence in Health Services Research.

Professor John Abisheganaden was appointed Director and Senior Consultant, HSOR on 1st October 2023. He holds a Fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh UK; a MMED (Internal Medicine) from NUS Singapore, as well as a FAMS (Respiratory Med) from Academy of Medicine Singapore.
