The City Ruins is a location in NieR:Automata, and the first area discovered after the Prologue. The city connects to the most zones in the overworld, and its terrain undergoes the most changes out of any zone: first when the ground opens up at the Center in Chapter 5, and later on in Chapter 11 when the Tower emerges from the same spot.

The Deep Cave is the name of two marked locations in NieR:Automata: The lower cave, and the one most visible, takes the party to a door where destroyed alien motherships are contained, with the elevator opposite leading further down to the Copied City.

The Copied City is a small location in NieR:Automata, and the setpiece for the last fight against Adam. Composed of crystallized silicon and carbon according to Pod 042's analysis of the surrounding structures, the area served as Adam's way of understanding humans more.
