2014年3月3日 · I shot half our son's basketball season using a D7100 and the other half a D800..both using a Nikon 70-200mm VRII. Now I got the D800 more for landscape/cityscape photography but it did a really decent job shooting our son's games. Anyhow, I had to bump the ISO up around 10,000 in order to maintain a 1/500-600 shutter speed.

2014年10月2日 · If it's too chilly you, it's too cold for the D7100. I shoot in southern/central Ontario and have never had a freeze-up with film or digital bodies. Follow the above tips about cold/warm transitions and condensation busting. Do get a spare battery and keep it warm. Be careful swapping a battery in the snow.

2008年10月9日 · The D7100 has a high resolution sensor, but you've made a sketchy shot, at f/2.8... F/2.8 at under 10 feet is a bad aperture choice with a d-slr if you want everything to look focused. It is expected that d-slr "keeper" images will undergo post processing. If you want to do less post work, shoot JPEG in-camera and crank the sharpening high.

See page 168 regarding flicker, banding, moiré, distortion etc. The D7100 has a rolling shutter instead of the preferred for moving camera/subject video, global shutter. The shutter speed is set by the frame rate of the video - 60 fps.
