2006年10月21日 · The difference between F4 and F4s is: modest-sized battery compartment (F4) or bigger battery compartment (F4s). You can swap the two back and forth. Not the same deal as, for example, N8008 vs. N8008s, or N90 vs N90s... in those cameras the "s" indicated some actual changes in the funtions built into the cameras.

2008年2月4日 · Personally, the F4/F4s is simply too old a camera. Its AF is very primitive in today's standards, but some people think it is the best "MF" Nikon film body. I would definitely prefer the F100 for a much new design, e.g. command and sub-command dials, LCD screens, etc.; not to mention that a lot of F4/F4s in the used market are very beaten up.

2007年8月12日 · The F4 and F4s are actually exactly the same camera body, just with a different grip/battery compartment. The F4 comes with an MB-20 battery pack that holds 4 AA batteries and was the standard configuration sold in most of the world outside of the US.

2004年2月26日 · Both systems are fine systems and a good photographer can work well with either. I personally prefer the Nikon line. Look them over carefully and chose the one that best fits you. Best, Dave Hartman. If you get the F4s consider adding an MB-20 battery pack. This is a 4 AA cell pack rather than the 6 cell pack used by the F4s.

The ISO trick works great.Wish there was a way we could find out how many times the shutters been fired but i supose thats for the techs only.Great camera though,owned many makes and models in the past but this one "feels" perfect and mainly i wanted one so i could use all my AiS lenses and might go for a AF-S one day.

2014年3月26日 · Some days ago I bought a Nikon F4S. I think there's a problem with exposures modes other than A or M. When using it in shutter priority mode, the alert red LED blinks after each shot. It's located near the film rewind knob. It's then impossible to take another picture. I have to shut down the camera.
